Veterans Getting Helping to Buy Their 1st Home

AlfonsoGomezBroker.com - In an effort to help veterans to become first time home owners, lenders, builders, and non-profits are making it easier for service member to buy.

In 2011 only 3% of all loans were VA.
In 2014 only 7% of all loans were VA.

Nonprofits and lenders are working together to help vets achieve homeownership. Banks and other lenders donate money to the nonprofits who, in turn, purchase and donate homes to military families. Some of these nonprofits include Operation HomeFront, the Military Warriors Support Foundation, and Purple Heart Homes.

Builders are also donating their time and work. Pulte Group has committed to a program called Built to Honor; they will build at least 20 homes and donate them to wounded vets, mortgage free!
